How to get to El Gaucho -
by car from the direction of Bonn, Aachen, Koblenz:

Drive to highway intersection "Autobahnkreuz Köln-West" (A4 from Aachen/A1 from Koblenz) . Continue on the A4 in the direction of Olpe and exit at Köln-Klettenberg. Follow Luxemburger Straße into town centre until you get to Barbarossaplatz, about 3,7 km.
by car from the direction of Olpe, Leverkusen, Oberhausen:
- Exit at highway intersection "Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost" unto highway A4 in the direction city centre. This highway crosses the Rhine over the Zoobrücke (bridge) and joins up with Innere Kanal-Straße, later Universitäts-Straße. Continue along these streets to Luxemburger Straße and turn left. Follow Luxemburger Straße in the direction of city centre to Barbarossaplatz.
by car from the direction of Frankfurt:
- Drive to highway intersection "Autobahndreieck Heumar" on A3/A4/A59. Keep right and take the A4/E40 to intersection "Autobahnkreuz Gremberg". Exit and drive along the A59 to Deutzer Ring in the direction of city centre/Severinsbrücke. Cross the Rhine over the Severinsbrücke and continue on to Barbarossaplatz.
from the airport:
- Take the line S13 at the airport train station to the main station in Cologne (approx. 15 minutes). Take the underground to Barbarossaplatz (see below). It costs € 25,00 by taxi.

by train:
- Take the underground lines 16, 17, 18, or 19 in the central train station in the direction of Barbarossaplatz. It's four stops to Barbarossaplatz and takes about 10 mins.
- It costs about € 7,50 by taxi.
- The next stop for the regional trains, lines 32 and 34 to/from Bonn, Euskirchen and Wuppertal, is about a 5-minute walk: Bahnhof Köln-Süd.
by underground and bus:
- Take lines 6, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 to Barbarossaplatz. Some lines will get you there directly, with others you will have to change trains at any of the following stops: Wienerplatz, Neumarkt, Ebertplatz, Rudolfplatz, Hauptbahnhof, Chlodwigplatz, ...
- The next stop for the regional trains, lines 32 and 34 to/from Bonn, Euskirchen and Wuppertal, is about a 5-min. walk: Bahnhof Köln-Süd.
